WEBSITE DESIGN + SUPPORT
When our longtime client Mammoth Lakes Recreation assumed leadership of the Arts on the 4th Festival, we knew this event deserved its own dedicated online home. Rather than trying to fold complex event content into the main MLR website, we built a standalone festival website designed specifically to help artists, visitors, and the community easily find what they need.
The site includes a full festival schedule, event information, and detailed artist bio pages so attendees can get excited about the incredible lineup ahead of time. We often see organizations try to tuck major events into existing websites, but dedicated event sites improve usability, strengthen branding, and create a much more intentional experience for attendees — which is exactly what Arts on the 4th deserved.
COMMUNICATIONS + SOCIAL MEDIA
We partnered with MLR to develop a comprehensive communication plan to support both sides of the event: recruiting artists and informing participating artists, and engaging the community and visitors leading up to the festival.
Our support includes email communication, social storytelling, community messaging, and a targeted social media advertising campaign focused on reaching the Southern California market — a critical audience for Mammoth Lakes tourism and festival attendance. The goal was simple: make sure people knew about the festival, felt excited about attending, knew about the amazing artists, and had everything they needed to plan their visit.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
With MLR hosting Arts on the 4th for the first time, there were extensive design needs — and we were thrilled to help bring the festival’s visual presence to life. We developed a full suite of graphic design assets, including:
Full-page promotional flyers
Newspaper advertisements
Festival signage
A clear, easy-to-read festival map
Additional marketing and onsite materials as needed
Every piece was designed to feel cohesive, welcoming, and reflective of the creative spirit of the event.
