Pinon Ranch Consulting partnered with Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation for approximately seven years, supporting the organization’s digital infrastructure, communications, and operational systems. The engagement concluded in 2025, and we remain proud of the work completed during that time to support the organization’s programs and mission.

WEBSITE DESIGN + SUPPORT

Over the course of nearly seven years, we partnered with Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation to develop and support a comprehensive digital ecosystem that connected fundraising, communication, membership management, and community engagement into a unified platform.

The website served as the central hub for the organization and was integrated with numerous operational systems to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and create a better experience for donors, members, volunteers, and community partners.

Key website and platform integrations included:

  • Email communication tools integrated with website forms, e-commerce transactions, and donor activity

  • Online donation systems supporting both one-time and recurring contributions

  • Fundraising campaign management tools

  • E-commerce functionality for memberships, merchandise, and fundraising initiatives

  • Integrated point-of-sale systems connected to online sales platforms

  • Automated bookkeeping integrations that reduced administrative workload and accounting costs

  • Automated donation receipt systems that improved donor experience while reducing staff time

  • A news and storytelling platform used to share organizational impact, community success stories, and program updates

COMMUNICATION PLANNING + SOCIAL MEDIA

A significant portion of our work with MMCF focused on strengthening organizational communication and audience engagement.

We redesigned and reorganized the organization’s communication management platform to improve audience segmentation and targeted messaging. This allowed MMCF to better connect with donors, members, volunteers, scholarship recipients, and community stakeholders through more relevant and effective communication.

Additional communication support included:

  • Development of standardized email templates for programs, events, and fundraising campaigns

  • Creation of communication planning tools and processes to improve coordination across departments and initiatives

  • Staff training and guidance on communication platform best practices

  • Production and management support for MMCF’s monthly newsletter, The Star

  • Management of organizational social media channels to tell their story and engage community members

These efforts helped create a more consistent communication strategy while improving operational efficiency for staff.

GOOGLE WORKSPACE

To further simplify operations and reduce technology costs, we helped MMCF migrate from Microsoft 365 to Google’s nonprofit platform.

This project included:

  • Full Google Workspace deployment and configuration

  • Email migration and account management

  • Security and administrative setup

  • Staff onboarding and support

  • Ongoing Google Workspace administration

The result was a reliable, cost-effective communication and collaboration platform that supported the organization’s day-to-day operations while leveraging nonprofit technology benefits.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT + MANAGEMENT

Beyond technology and communication systems, we partnered with MMCF to improve several of their core community programs.

We redesigned the organization’s grant, scholarship, and award application processes by implementing modern online application systems. These improvements created a better experience for applicants while significantly streamlining the review and administration process for staff and volunteers.

We also provided ongoing guidance and support for application management, helping staff navigate each stage of the review and award process.
