The Mammoth Art Walk was created to bring a more elevated and curated arts experience to Mammoth Lakes, connecting visitors and locals with talented artists in a beautiful, walkable event setting. From the very beginning, we knew the event needed a website that felt polished, engaging, and easy to navigate while also supporting the operational needs of the organizers and participating artists.
We designed and built a standalone website that serves as the central hub for the event — providing information for attendees, artists, sponsors, and community members alike. The site includes artist application resources, event schedules, booth maps, artist profiles, and festival information, all organized in a way that feels approachable and easy to explore.
Because the event is heavily visual and tourism-driven, we placed a strong emphasis on mobile usability, clear navigation, and bold imagery that captures the atmosphere and creative energy of the Mammoth Art Walk experience.
COMMUNICATIONS + SOCIAL MEDIA
Launching a brand-new event requires building awareness, excitement, and trust from the ground up. We worked closely with the Mammoth Art Walk team to develop a communication strategy focused on artist recruitment, community engagement, and visitor awareness.
This included social media planning, launch announcements, artist recruitment campaigns, event promotion content, and ongoing communication support across digital platforms. We also helped develop messaging and communication tools for participating artists so they could easily promote their involvement and help expand the event’s reach organically through their own audiences.
Our goal was to create communication that felt creative, community-focused, and aligned with the elevated but approachable feel of the event itself.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
A major focus of this project was building a strong and recognizable visual identity for the Mammoth Art Walk from the ground up. We developed the event branding, logo system, and overall visual direction to create something that felt artistic, modern, welcoming, and distinctly connected to Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra.
Beyond the core branding, we created a wide range of supporting materials, including promotional graphics, social media assets, event signage, printed materials, artist resources, maps, and other festival collateral. Every piece was designed to feel cohesive and reinforce the event’s identity across both digital and in-person experiences.
The result is a visual brand system that gives the Mammoth Art Walk a professional, memorable presence while helping establish the event as a unique and exciting addition to the Eastern Sierra arts community.
