GOOGLE WORKSPACE SETUP + ADMINISTRATION

Early on in our career we had the amazing opportunity to work on the UC Berkeley campus at the Cal Alumni Association and oversee a number of volunteer programs for alumni across the country. A decade later, some of those colleagues are now on the board of the Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association (BSCAA) and they wanted to get Google Workspace setup for their organization.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, BSCAA is eligible for a free plan in the Google Workspace environment that provides access to email and productivity tools that can help any non-profit be more successful.

Our role in this project was to get the entire back-end environment setup; including setting up email accounts, email distribution groups, shared calendars, establish appropriate security policies, integrate this new email tool within their existing tools (mailchimp, fundraising/membership platform), helping all of their board members on-board to this new tool and providing training to key board members on how to manage the administration side of Google Workspace.
